Directions

GPS routes should select "Steinman Hall" or "275 Convent Ave." as the final destination.

By Subway: 

1 train to 137th St. and Broadway; walk three blocks up 138th St. to Convent Ave., make a left until you reach St. Nicholas Terrace (W 140th St.) and make a right. Steinman Hall will be on your left.

'A' or 'D' express, or 'B' or 'C' local to 145th St. and St. Nicholas Ave. Take the southern exit at W 145th St., walk west one block to W 145th St. and Convent Ave., then South to 140th St. Make a left on St. Nicholas Terrace. Steinman Hall will be on your left.

Note: City College operates shuttle buses between the campus and the 125th St. (St. Nicholas Ave.) and 145th St. (St. Nicholas Ave.) A/B/C/D subway stations, although you must have a CCNY ID to ride.

By Car: 

Please note that parking is limited on our campus. There may be available street parking in the immediate neighborhood if you time it right, but this is not a given. You are also able to find an hourly paid parking garage on St. Nicholas Ave. nearby. If you are, however, an announced guest, we may be able to arrange on-campus parking at no cost with several days of advanced notice -- please request this from your departmental host who will arrange with CCNY Public Safety.

From the West Side: Westside Highway/Henry Hudson Parkway traveling north, exit at 125th St. Turn right onto Saint Clair Pl. and make an immediate left on 12th Ave. Make a right on W 133rd St. until reaching Amsterdam Ave. (two traffic lights). Make a left on Amsterdam Ave. and once you reach W 141st St., make a right. Make a right on Convent Ave., and a left on St. Nicholas Terrace. Steinman Hall will be on your left.

From the East Side: FDR Drive to Harlem River Drive, exit at 135th St. to end, turn right on St. Nicholas Ave., then left onto 141st St., left on Convent Ave., then left on Saint Nicholas Terrace. Steinman Hall will be on your left. Please note that a CCNY-issued placard is required for parking on the East side of St. Nicholas Terrace from 135th to 140th St. and you may be ticketed if you park in one of these designated spaces. Make sure you observe the street parking signs to avoid this.

By Bus: 

From the East Side: M-18 via Convent Ave. to 141th St.; M-100 and M-101 to Amsterdam Ave. and 140th St., walk one block East. 

From the West side: M-11 to Amsterdam Ave. and 135th St., walk 5 blocks North and one block East to Convent Ave. M-4 and M-5, to Broadway and 138th St., walk two blocks East to Convent Ave., and one block North to Steinman Hall.
