2. Decide on your specialization (e.g. Project Management, Process Improvement, Market Research). To help with this, search job descriptions. Discover what excites you most. See yourself in the role.

3. Learn everything you can about your specialization through reading and watching videos .

4. Join professional organizations such as SIOP and SHRM.

5. Become a job search expert.

6. Seek out professionals in your specialization. Conduct informational interviews.

7. Develop a meticulous resume which highlights your Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics (KSAOs) that are relevant to your specialty.
