The Professional Development and Learning (PDL) Office provides CUNY employees with professional development and training opportunities that are designed to enhance their knowledge, skills, and competencies. CIS Training is here to support CUNY faculty and staff in your CUNY-wide technology training needs. You can view all the Technology Training Resources that CIS Training has to offer on our SharePoint site. (Remember to log in with your CUNY Login, which is the same @login.cuny.edu login you use to access CUNYfirst and Blackboard.)

CUNY Tuition Waiver

Tuition may be waived for undergraduate and graduate courses at any CUNY college on a space available, no cost basis depending upon the term the employee is registered for, their category/title, the number of credits attempted and their amount of service time.

CUNY Compliance Trainings

In compliance with New York State law, CUNY’s Sexual Misconduct Policy and CUNY’s Campus and Workplace Violence Prevention Policy, all CUNY employees are required to complete training at least once each academic year.  This includes full-time and part-time staff, faculty and adjunct professors.

CCNY Adult & Continuing Education Catalog

CCNY Faculty and Staff get a 10% discount when you register for classes in the Adult and Continuing Education Program (ACE) for details, email ace@ccny.cuny.edu or call 212-650-7312.

DC-37 Education Fund

The District Council 37 Education Fund operates a Tuition Reimbursement Program which assists eligible members to pursue an undergraduate, graduate or post-graduate education, subject to the rules, regulations, conditions and limitations established by the Education Fund Board of Trustees. This program also assists members taking non-credit courses. 

PSC-CUNY Professional Development

Professional Development: Grants are available for full-time faculty (PSC-CUNY Research Awards), higher education officers/college lab technicians and adjuncts/CET.
