As Spring Break comes to an end, I write to update you on tightened security for entering buildings on campus as a result of the encampment setup on the Quad. Only City College faculty, staff, students and named guests will be allowed inside campus buildings. CCNY faculty, staff and students will be required to show a valid CCNY ID at the door. If your current ID does not have a 2024 validation sticker, you will need to get one. Stickers are available at the OneStop and/or the ID office in NAC 1/206. Anyone expecting a visit from a guest will need to leave the guest’s name with Public Safety at the front desk. Your guest will need proper ID as well.
Faculty may hear concerns from their students about coming to campus. Please be as accommodating to the students as you can.
