Art Lecturer Tom Thayer Premieres Performance at MoMA

City College art lecturer Tom Thayer , a performance artist who “operates at the intersection of the hand-crafted and the technological,” will premiere one of his live performances and give a talk about his work at New York’s Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) 7 p.m. Monday, December 16. Mr. Thayer’s work explores shifts that occur when a three-dimensional object, such as a collage or sculpture, is represented in another medium.
