Gateway Academic Center (GAC) NA 1/219
The Gateway Academic Center (GAC) provides a coordinated series of academic interventions—from advising, tutoring and workshops--to its designated population: that cohort which has not yet decided on a major; or, that must fulfill eligibility requirements to apply to the professional school or major of choice. Mentoring via one-on-one and/or group advising is available. Students are also connected to the network of resources available at the school to facilitate superior academic achievement. With an advising staff that is comprised of both educators as well as advisors, the GAC aims to orient its students both academically and logistically.
