Information technology may just be the right step for you.   According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook (U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics):

• Overall employment in computer and information technology occupations is projected to grow much faster than the average for all occupations from 2022 to 2032. About 377,500 openings are projected each year, on average, in these occupations due to employment growth and the need to replace workers who leave the occupations permanently.

• The median annual wage for this group was $104,420 in May 2023, which was higher than the median annual wage for all occupations of $48,060.

Because of our Upskilling Initiative Grant, some of our courses may be offered for free!  Our goals are to help you launch sustaining careers in technology and to create inclusive pathways to further credentials in in-demand fields. Please fill out our technology INTEREST FORM.   

For full descriptions of each course, visit our course list.  Please note the minimum systems requirement for each of our courses.  For instance for the Introduction to A.I course, the following is required of your computer system: 

• Windows 10 PC or Mac computer
• 8MB of RAM
• Multicore CPU
• 64-bit processor
