This Electrocardiogram (EKG) and Phlebotomy course is ideal for CNAs and other patient care professionals who want to become Certified Patient Care Technicians (PCT).

EKG Certification

The EKG Technician Certification Program (Hybrid) prepares you to perform electrocardiograms, monitor heart rhythms, and support physicians in diagnosing cardiovascular conditions. You’ll learn how to operate EKG equipment, identify common heart abnormalities, ensure patient safety, and follow clinical protocols. This training prepares you to sit for the national EKG Technician certification exam and pursue employment in hospitals, cardiology offices, diagnostic labs, and outpatient care centers.

Course Description

This 60-hour HYBRID program is perfect for CNAs and other patient care professionals who want to become Certified Patient Care Technicians (PCT). Student receive hands-on training in basic cardiac physiology, how to identify heart problems, how to perform 12- lead electrocardiograms (EKG), how to identify normal heart rhythm and arrhythmia, and how to troubleshoot technical problems with an EKG. Upon successful completion of course, students will be eligible to take the National Healthcareer Association certification exam.

Upon Successful completion, students are eligible to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam.

Phlebotomy Certification

The Phlebotomy Certification Program (Hybrid) provides the hands-on skills needed to safely draw blood, process specimens, and support laboratory testing in clinical settings. You’ll learn venipuncture techniques, proper handling and labeling procedures, infection control, patient communication, and safety practices required in hospitals, labs, and outpatient centers. This course prepares you to sit for the national Phlebotomy Technician certification exam and begin a vital role in today’s healthcare system.

Course Description

This 60-hour HYBRID program is perfect for CNAs and other patient care professionals who want to become Certified Patient Care Technicians (PCT). Students will learn how to draw blood from patients or donors and assemble equipment (such as needles, blood collection devices, gauze, tourniquet, cotton, and alcohol).

Upon Successful completion, students are eligible to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification exam.
