October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please join us throughout the month to increase awareness and support survivors!
If you are a student who has experienced domestic violence, CCNY is here to support you. For Title IX reporting please contact Chief Diversity Officer/Title IX Coordinator Diana Cuozzo at dcuozzo@ccny.cuny.edu . For confidential support, please contact Psychological Counselor/Confidential Advocate, Sophie English, at senglish@ccny.cuny.edu or Gender Resources at genderresources@ccny.cuny.edu .
Virtual Clothesline Project:
Join us throughout October in our Virtual Clothesline Project! Download your virtual t-shirt here. The Clothesline Project is a visual display of colored t-shirts symbolizing different types of violence. The purpose is honor survivors and to increase awareness of the impact of violence and abuse. Survivors and allies are invited to write a message of affirmation, support or personal experiences to raise awareness and to break the silence. Screen shot, write a message, tag @genderresourcesccny on Instagram and share.
