The CUNY Office of Research and the CUNY Undergraduate Research Council/Committee (CURC) is sponsoring a CUNY-wide celebration of undergraduate research May 2025. All disciplines are welcome. 

Faculty and staff are asked to nominate undergraduate researchers to participate in the event. 

Nominations should be submitted by March 31 (5:00 PM) using this link.

 Each nomination should meet the following criteria: 

• Students must have spent at least one, preferably two, semesters working on original research under the guidance of a faculty mentor or mentors 
• Nominees must have made a significant contribution to the project, as determined by the faculty mentor(s) 
• The lead student nominee must be physically present in May and be prepared to communicate the contents of their poster to an audience of non-specialists 
• The presentation should be in the form of a standard-sized (36” x 48”) scientific poster (portrait). 

Nominations should be submitted by March 31 (5:00 PM) using this link. Based upon the responses, Deans will be asked to select the undergraduate researchers to represent their schools/divisions at the event.
