Mission Statement

The City College of New York has the distinction of having established the first higher educational opportunity program. Through the provision of counseling, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and additional financial aid, SEEK supports students in their efforts to persist and ultimately earn a college degree thereby creating a path for greater social and economic mobility.
