Science Division Tutoring
The Science Division provides multiple avenues to facilitate students' learning. Tutoring session can be scheduled directly with each department or through Division of Science Office of Students Success.
Office of Student Success (CCAPP)
The City College Academy for Professional Preparation (CCAPP) is the Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) at City College. It is sponsored by the New York State Department of Education to support talented under-represented students pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and health-related fields, to address the critical shortage of these students in those disciplines. The CCAPP program provides participants with a supportive community of fellow students, faculty and staff that enriches their lives, promotes their academic success and prepares them for entry into professional careers and/or graduate programs. CCAPP serves students throughout their college careers.

Volunteering opportunities:
Would you like to leverage your academic skill and content knowledge to help your fellow CCNY students? City Tutors would love to have you! In addition to online training that will give you a practical toolkit to work with students online, you'll have access to the City Mentors program. The City Mentors program offers the opportunity for you to have 1:1 meetings with a working professional in a field or industry of your interest. There is a semester long commitment to be a volunteer tutor for 2 - 3 hours every week.
