Major and Minor Declaration Requirements

• Biology Major

The following courses must be completed to declare the Major:

BIO 10100, BIO 10200, CHEM 10301, and MATH 19500 or 20500 or 20100, all with grades of 'C' or higher. (Note: if you have not met these requirements but need to declare a major for financial aid purposes, please contact CCAPP/Science Advising). 

• Biology Minor

The following courses must be completed to declare the Minor:

BIO 10100 and BIO 10200, both with grades of 'C' or higher.​

• Chemistry and Biochemistry

• Earth and Atmospherics Sciences

• Mathematics

Requirements: See department website for more information.

• Physics

Requirements: PHYS 20700 and PHYS 20800 all with grades of 'C' higher. See department website for more information.
