Eligible graduates of Infrastructure Fundamentals (Baseline) training may qualify for free courses as part of the advanced Catalyst training phase. Our dedicated staff will notify Baseline graduates of upcoming opportunities and offer guidance in selecting the right courses. Courses include:
Construction Safety
- 30-hour OSHA for Construction: Required for work on most NYC construction sites.
- 10-hour Site Safety Training (SST) per NYC Department of Buildings: Required for work on most NYC construction sites.
- 4-hour Flagging per NYS Department of Transportation: Meets Federal, State, and NYC DOT requirements.
- 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher: Required for work with a supported scaffold in NYC per the NYC DOB.
Environmental
- 40-hour Initial HAZWOPER Training and 8-hour Annual Refresher: Practical, expert-led instruction and certification for all workers who may be exposed to hazardous materials.
- Certified Custodial Technician Basic: Standards, best practices, and protocols for frontline custodians and service contractors in educational facilities, government facilities, and health care system operations. Offered in partnership with ISSA, the Worldwide Cleaning Industry Association.
Green Professional (GPRO) Certificate Program
- Fundamentals of Building Green: Discover the connections between building systems and the foundational strategies for making them more sustainable.
- Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Essentials: Learn useful tools to measure building performance and straightforward strategies to reduce energy consumption and costs.
- Construction Management: Learn sustainability best practices and actionable strategies for every phase of construction.
Computer-Aided Design and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- Training includes the introductory Autodesk AutoCAD Essentials course and others focused on more advanced software, ideal for infrastructure professionals. Instruction takes place in our Autodesk Authorized Training Centers.
