Catalyst Training
Graduates of Baseline Training may be eligible to participate in our continuing education and certification courses free of charge as spots become available. Training covers a wide variety of skills, from construction to commercial and industrial cleaning to computer-aided design (CAD). Our staff notifies Baseline Training graduates of upcoming opportunities and offers guidance as they select which courses they should apply to.
Courses include:
- 30-hour OSHA for Construction: Required for work on most NYC construction sites.
- 10-hour Site Safety Training (SST) per NYC Department of Buildings: Required for work on most NYC construction sites.
- 40-hour Initial HAZWOPER Training and 8-hour Annual Refresher: Practical, expert-led instruction and certification for all workers who may be exposed to hazardous materials.
- E-CMT Weatherization Training: In partnership with the New York Center for Energy & Carbon Management Training (E-CMT) and supported by the New York State Homes and Community Renewal’s Weatherization Assistance Program, this intensive 4-week course provides education in building energy fundamentals, hands-on lab experience, and preparation for industry-recognized certifications.
- 4-hour Flagging per NYS Department of Transportation: Meets Federal, State, and NYC DOT requirements.
- 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User and Refresher: Required for work with a supported scaffold in NYC per the NYC DOB.
- ISSA Custodial Technician Training: Developed by ISSA’s Cleaning Management Institute, this course is designed for front-line custodians and covers chemical properties, cleaning best practices, safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service. Participants earn Basic Certified Cleaning Technician certification upon completion.
- Green Professional (GPRO) Certificate Program: Developed by the Urban Green Council, this program equips participants with high-performance building practices that can be integrated into their daily work. Courses include:
- Autodesk Authorized Training: Includes the introductory Autodesk AutoCAD Essentials course and others focused on more advanced software, ideal for infrastructure professionals. Instruction takes place in our Autodesk Authorized Training Centers.
