CCNY hosts weeklong celebration Oct. 1- 7 The City College of New York, in collaboration with the Harlem Arts Alliance, presents “Harlem in the City,” a weeklong festival of activities celebrating Harlem as a cultural and intellectual force for New York City, America and the world. Warming temperatures have already made the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s new cold-weather planting guidelines obsolete, according to Dr. Nir Krakauer, assistant professor of civil engineering in The City College of New York’s Grove School of Engineering. $1 Million Gift From Alumnus Irwin Zahn, ’48, and $440K Grant From Office of Borough President Scott Stringer Support New Facility The City College of New York’s Grove School of Engineering will open an entrepreneurship center next month that will also serve as a business incubator for aspiring student and faculty entrepreneurs and a resource for local businesses.
