NEW YORK, NY – Representative Adriano Espaillat (NY-13) will host a virtual emergency rental assistance town hall on (today) Tuesday, August 17th at 5:00 p.m. EDT to address programs available for district residents.
Rep. Espaillat joined his congressional colleagues to pass more than $46 billion in Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) to assist households in need and prevent evictions.
As the national eviction moratorium expired on July 31 and the eviction mortarium for New York State is approaching, Rep. Espaillat will be joined by state and federal agencies to provide an overview of rental assistance programs available to help New Yorkers who are seeking financial relief to avoid eviction.
