The in-person Run will take place on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 8:00 AM (runners will start on Edgecombe Ave and 136th Street) and will include additional events such as the Family Health Walk and the Children’s Run. For more information about this option, please visit the NYRR Event page for details and pricing.
The 2021 Harlem 5K Run honors the life and contributions of Mayor David Dinkins, the 106th mayor of New York City from 1990 to 1993 and the first African American to hold that position. Mayor Dinkins died in November 2020 at the age of 93.
