Welcome to the Office of Financial Aid
The City College Financial Aid Office administers federal and state funds, as well as those provided by special programs, the City University of New York and the College itself, to ensure that you have an opportunity to pursue higher education at CCNY. The office will work with you to combine scholarships, grants, loans, work-study opportunities and governmental benefits into a package to help meet the difference between the cost of college and the contributions you and your family are expected to provide.
Feel free to learn requirements about grants, scholarships and loan programs. Most of our awards are "need based", and you will have to maintain "good academic standing". to qualify for your awards. See the Federal and New York State Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements.
Students who do not meet SAP may submit an appeal to have their federal financial aid reinstated, please review the deadline page on the financial aid webpage.

Follow-up
If you submitted a FAFSA online, you should receive a copy of your "FAFSA Submission Summary" a few weeks after submission.
Carefully review to make sure all the information is correct. If there are any errors, you can correct them online at https://studentaid.gov. Make sure to follow-up with your CUNYfirst To-Do List.
Net Price Calculator - The City College of New York
Our CUNY Financial Aid Estimator will provide you and your family with an early estimate of the financial aid for which you might qualify. Most people complete the Financial Aid Estimator in 5-10 minutes. Based on the information you provide regarding your family's financial situation and your educational preferences, the calculator will provide an estimate of potential financial aid awards and a net price. The net price shows the affordability of attending CUNY and reflects your estimated costs of attending less your estimated financial aid.
Completion of this Financial Aid Estimator is not an application for financial aid. The estimates provided do not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance or a final net price of attendance at your chosen college. You must file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) in order to determine your eligibility for federal financial aid at CUNY. For more information on applying for federal student aid, go to https://studentaid.gov.

This means that you can submit your financial aid documents securely without having to come into the campus Financial Aid Office. As the students and the college financial aid staff work through the forms, the Student Forms software will send updates in real time with documentation that is needed based on the answers provided by the students. Once you have submitted all your forms to resolve outstanding financial aid tasks, the integration with our other CUNY applications will update CUNYfirst in real time. Campus Logic Student Forms
