Susannah is a Yonkers-born anthropology student in her sophomore year. After graduating high school, she took a gap year to work as a sailing educator at the Erie Maritime Museum and the Los Angeles Maritime Institute. Since beginning her academic career at the City College of New York, she has been involved in the production and promotion of Hostile Terrain 94, as well as a faculty-led archaeological excavation, studying ceramics on a former Barbadian plantation. While she is still refining her research interests, she has been studying climate-based displacement, archaeological field methodologies, and environmental theory.
