Safiatou Bah is an undergraduate student from the Bronx. As a young student beginning their college journey, they struggled to choose a major. Safiatou hoped to find a major that would provide them the skills to help their community. Looking toward psychology, Safiatou began their journey at City College as a Psychology major. After a few courses in philosophy and sociology, they formally declared double major in Philosophy and Sociology. Their interests include connecting the bridges between the theories discussed and explored in sociology and the reality of the conditions of life in the Bronx.
