Queen Carrasco (she/they) is a junior in the CUNYBA program studying Social Data Science and Curatorial Studies. Starting at City College as a Computer Science major and Sociology minor, they realized that having an overlapping curriculum in the two fields was essential for her education and the pace of developing technology. Their current academic interests are digital activism and critical social theory, specifically the use of critical social theory as a radicalizing tool in the lives of digital activists. After their undergraduate studies, they plan to continue to graduate school, pursuing a PhD in Computational Social Science.
