DESCRIPTION
The structure and operation of a computer, concepts and properties of an algorithms and a programming language. Introduction to programming in a modern programming language, such as C/C++. The emphasis is on applications of interest to scientists and engineers.
Prereq: Math 19500 (min C grade) or Pre/Co-requisite Math 20100 ( min C grade).
2 class, 2 rec. hr./wk/; 3 cr.
Note: Not open to students majoring or intending to major in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
