Abstract: Despites the potential applications of carbohydrates in biomedicine, therapeutics, and material science, carbohydrates, as a class of biopolymers, remain largely unexplored due to their difficult and time-consuming synthesis, purification, and analysis.  Technology and protocols that could challenge this status quo are critical for more rapid progress in the glycoscience, but limited understanding of the glycosylation reaction mechanism hampers its development
