Please join us in welcoming Dr. Mark Anthony Neal, chair of Duke University's African and African American Studies Department, as he visits the campus of The City College of New York. He will be in conversation with Dr. Vanessa K. Valdés, Associate Provost for Community Engagement, discussing his latest book, Black Ephemera: The Crisis and Challenge of the Musical Archive (2022).
