In partnership with the Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership's annual Day of Service, volunteer with the CCNY LGBTQ+ Student Center in creating art for our Center and this year's Lavender Graduation Ceremony!

When volunteering with the CCNY LGBTQ+ Student Center, you have several art projects that you can choose from including:

• Making tissue paper rainbow flowers for this year's Lavender Graduation Ceremony

• Adding your story to the "Queering CCNY" mural (est. Fall 2022 - featuring over 70 stories from LGBTQ+ and allied students, staff, faculty, and alumni)

• Creating art for our Center's art wall (paper, canvases, color pencils, crayons, and paint provided)

Other volunteering opportunities available with several CCNY departments, groups, and initiatives include:

• Care kits for students

• Letters for the elderly

• Rooftop gardening

Make a meaningful difference by volunteering your time to support those in need, uplift spirits, and foster positive change.

When: Thursday, May 2, 2024 | 10AM-4PM (come by when you get the chance!)
