Professor John Krinsky, CCNY
“Community Land Trusts and the Urban Commons”
Dr. Krinsky is professor of political science at CCNY and the CUNY Graduate Center. He is a founding board member of the New York City Community Land Initiative.
His publications include the recent book Who Cleans Your Park? The Transformation of Work in the Public Sector in New York City (University of Chicago Press, 2017) with Maud Simonet and Free Labor: Workfare and the Contested Language of Neoliberalism (University of Chicago Press, 2008). He also co-edits Metropolitics and the journal Social Movement Studies and co-coordinates the Politics and Protest Workshop at the Graduate Center.
