Are you “male” or “female”? This question isn’t as simple as it seems. In this hybrid talk with scholar-activist Georgiann Davis based on her book Contesting Intersex: The Dubious Diagnosis, we will learn what intersex is and how intersex people navigate their lives, specifically their relationships with family members and medical providers. Suggestions for how to be a good ally to intersex people will be provided.
