Unattended Packages in a Public Place

Personal belongings should never be left unattended as they can be stolen or tampered with. Please keep your belongings with you at all times while at City College.

If you observe a package, suitcase, backpack, box, bag or similar item left unattended in a public space such as the library, lobby, or cafeteria, notify Public Safety immediately. Public Safety can be reached at (212) 650-7777 or extension 6911. Public Safety will determine whether the package is dangerous and if deemed so, they will take appropriate action.
