This scholarship provides an opportunity for emerging social entrepreneurs to test and develop their idea for social impact in a supportive environment. Open exclusively to Zahn graduates working towards building a social enterprise, the scholarship supports CCNY students who are committed to launching, leading, and growing a venture aimed at achieving social good. Ventures may include non-profit, for-profit, and hybrid models with the main objective of realizing a social or environmental mission.
Students earn a $2,500 scholarship per semester and are expected to dedicate 200 hours (10-12hr/wk.) to their project and other program requirements. Participants will have access to the Zahn Center's state-of-the-art facilities, mentoring from practitioners, and access to exclusive events.
