Marina Correia teaches in the Urban Design, Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Architecture programs. She holds an architecture degree from The City University of New York (2006), a Master in Architecture from Harvard University Graduate School of Design (2013) and a Ph.D. in History of Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Sao Paulo (2018). She previously taught at Cal Poly Pomona, Columbia University, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Pratt Institute and Rhode Island School of Design. Between 2004 and 2013 she collaborated with multiple architecture firms in the United States, Spain and Brazil, including Isay Weinfeld, SOM, Borrell Arquitectes, Corea&Moran and 1100:Architect. She co-founded Atelier Architecture and Urban Design, an international practice based in Rio de Janeiro. Her publications include the articles Watchful Solitude: John Hejduk and Venice (Drawing Matter 2024), John Hejduk's Bye House: An Object in the Landscape (with Stan Allen, Drawing Matter 2023), Ecological Urbanism in Latin America (co-edited with M. Mostafavi, G. Doherty, A. Duran and L. Valenzuela - Harvard GSD and GG, 2019), The National Museum beyond the Palace (Cultural Preservation Center Magazine of the University of Sao Paulo, 2022) and Tales of Invisibility: Exhibition Design between Architectures (P.M. Bardi Institute, 2022).
