Lynne Scott Jackson

Profile

Lynne Scott Jackson is a seasoned communications professional with more than 20 years experience in national consumer advertising, content development, channel expansion, healthcare marketing, business education, strategic advocacy and social entrepreneurship.  She is Distinguished Lecturer, The City College of New York (CUNY), Media and Communication Arts and Service Learning Fellow, Colin Powell Center for Policy Studies.

As principal of Millynneum Inc., a New York marketing, media and public affairs practice founded in 1997, she conceives strategies for clients such as South African Tourism, The Prostate Net and Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures™, a global corporate social responsibility program serving more than 500 million youth and families in 80 countries, including 70 million here in the US.  Previously, she was PR Director at UniWorld Group; Account Manager at the New York headquarters of Hill and Knowlton (a division of WPP Group) and Staff Writer for the St. Petersburg (FL) Times.  Lynne has a BA in Journalism from Howard University’s John H. Johnson School of Communications, receiving the Outstanding Alumni Award.  The Public Relations Society of America’s Diversity Central Committee (NY), Black Public Relations Society—NY, Greater Chinatown Community Association, Harlem Arts Alliance and Craigslist Foundation’s NY Nonprofit Bootcamp benefit from her counsel and expertise.
