Linda Villarosa
Profile
Linda Villarosa is a journalism professor at CCNY. She is also a journalist-in-residence at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. A former editor and contributing reporter for the New York Times, she also served as the executive editor of Essence Magazine. Professor Villarosa is the author of "Under the Skin, The Hidden Toll of Racism on American Lives and the Health of Our Nation." The book was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2023. She contributes to several national publications, in print and online.
