David Ranghelli studied filmmaking and was an honors student at Brooklyn College (BA); he studied Comp. Lit. with a Cinema Studies third field at NYU (MA, MPhil), focusing on Latinamerican Literature and Film. He taught film analysis and mentored thesis writing students at Tisch School of the Arts for 12 years. He has worked at the Department of Media and Communication Arts at City College for 9 years, where he serves as an educator, advisor, and administrator for aspiring filmmakers, and for students of advertising and journalism. He is also a writer.
