Transferring Data From Legacy RefWorks Userid to New RefWorks Userid

There are two versions of RefWorks: Legacy RefWorks or RefWorks.com; and RefWorks (New Platform) or refworks.proquest.com. Most of the CUNY schools have access to both as a full migration from Legacy to RefWorks has not been implemented.

To move your references from Legacy to RefWorks, you simply login to your RefWorks account via the refworks.proquest.com link, then go to the “Add” menu at top of main screen; select “Import references”; then click on the Legacy RefWorks box under “Import from another reference manager” (screen shot below)
