TECH Center Services

The TECH Center provides over 300 workstations where students can work on assignments, check email, and use software packages needed for class.

This facility is sectioned into General Computing Areas, technology-enabled Student Training Centers (STC), Media Study Rooms (MSR), and two-person Study Rooms (SR).  The three STC labs extends the General Computing Area when classes are not in session.

The ten Media Study Rooms can each accommodate up to six current CCNY students for collaboration purposes and has dual flat panel displays, white boards, and laptop connectivity. The two-person Study Rooms are also available for current CCNY students. Please see cITy TECH Center Rules information.

Software  Installation Requests

Please email software requests (i.e. installation, upgrade, configuration changes) to TECHCenter@ccny.cuny.edu . To allow sufficient time for implementation and testing, the deadline for submitting software requests is the last day of the previous semester. Once installed, the requestor will then be contacted to make arrangements to test and confirm the software is working properly.

The deadline for classes in Spring Semesters: the day of the last final exam of the Fall semester
