SUMMER 2023
*July 28th, 2023 - Last day to submit a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal for summer 2023 semester.
August 1st, 2023 - Last day to submit a federal direct loan, Parent PLUS loan, or GRAD PLUS loan request for a summer 2023 semester only.
**August 2nd, 2023 - Last day for a student to submit a 2023-2024 Professional Judgment Appeal for summer 2023 semester.
August 23rd, 2023 - Last day for a student who is only enrolled for summer to have an official/valid (non-rejected) 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file.
September 21st, 2023 - Last day for a summer 2023 only enrolled student to submit documents for 2023-2024 verification.
FALL 2023
August 31st, 2023 - The last day to submit a fall /spring 24-25 New York State Excelsior Scholarship application. Current Excelsior recipients should not submit this application.
September 14th, 2023 - Last day to declare or change major/minor concentration (this is required for students with 60 or more earned credits). The deadline for any changes or updates on the 2023-2024 TAP Application is June 30th, 2023.
*October 3rd, 2023 - Last day to submit a Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Appeal for the fall 2023 semester.
**October 14th, 2023 - Last day for a student to submit a 2023-2024 Professional Judgment Appeal request for a fall 2023 only appeal (**see additional notes below).
November 4th, 2023 - 60% Date of the term - Student has earned 100% of the federal funding for the current payment period.
December 5th, 2023 - Last day to submit a federal direct loan, Parent PLUS loan, or GRAD PLUS loan request for a fall 2023 only loan.
December 21st, 2023 - Last day for a student who is only enrolled for fall to have an official/valid (non-rejected) 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file.
January 9th, 2024 - Last day for a fall 2023 only enrolled student to submit documents for 2023-2024 verification. Document(s) must be submitted before Spring 2023.
June 30th, 2024 - Last day to apply for Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).
SPRING 2024

May 22nd, 2024 - Last day for a student who is enrolled for fall and spring or spring only to have an official/valid (non-rejected) 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file.
June 30th, 2024 - Last day to apply for Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).
July 24th, 2024 - Last day for a spring 2024 only enrolled student to submit documents for 2023-2024 verification.
*May 1st, 2023 - Last day to submit fall 2023 and spring 2024 Federal Direct loan, Parent PLUS loan or GRAD PLUS loan. In order to receive a fall and spring loan, you must have completed 6 credits in the fall and must be registered for 6 credits for the spring semester.
**March 15th, 2023 - Last day to submit fall 2023 and spring 2024 or spring 2024 only professional judgment appeal / dependency appeal / family contribution appeal / cost of attendance appeal.
Established federal professing deadlines prohibit the college from processing a 2023-2024 FAFSA after the student's last date of enrollment. Students who have not filed a FAFSA for the 2023-2024 academic year and who are no longer enrolled for the academic year have missed the deadline to be considered for Federal Student Aid programs for the 2023-2024 academic year.
