Dawn Porter is an award-winning documentary filmmaker whose extensive work includes: the Netflix original series Bobby Kennedy for President that premiered at Tribeca, John Lewis: Good Trouble (CNN Films), Trapped which won the special jury social-impact prize at Sundance 2016 and a Peabody and Gideons' Army (HBO) which premiered at Sundance 2013 where it won the editing award.

Madeleine Gavin is the director and editor of the documentary Beyond Utopia about people fleeing North Korea, which won the Audience Award at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival. She also directed and edited the Netflix original City of Joy (2016) and Co-Directed and Edited What I Want My Words To Do series that was broadcast on PBS' POV.
