Research: Ana created an annotated bibliography documenting the evolution of Black consciousness in the Dominican Republic from the colonial period to the late 20^th century. This research will serve as the foundation for her project on how the United States’ penetration of the Dominican Republic has further impacted Dominican conceptualizations of race.
