What Is CCNY Navigate?

CCNY Navigate is an interactive coordinated care platform designed to help students succeed and enhance the CCNY experience for everyone. CCNY Navigate enables staff and faculty to connect students more efficiently with advising and the college's various support programs and enrichment opportunities. Front Desk users can manage appointments and set-up kiosks for seamless check-in and appointment management.

Accessing CCNY Navigate

Faculty and staff users must use their CUNYFirst credentials to access either of the CCNY Navigate sites through the links below:

Appointment Center

The Appointment Center allows staff to manage appointments for specific, individual locations. Using the Appointment Center allows you to schedule appointments, view/edit appointment details, cancel appointments, check students in, mark students as No-Shows, and send students messages. You can also view a list of drop-in appointments and scheduled appointments for the day. Kiosk

Kiosks enable students to: 

1. Independently check-in for a scheduled appointment or an event

2. Record a visit (student lounge, recreation center, etc.)

3. Add themselves to a queue for drop-in appointments.

Kiosks can be a helpful workflow management tool for staff who may want to track attendance of events, log student activity, or allow for students to easily check-in or drop-in for appointments upon arrival.

We recommend that you use a tablet or laptop to start your Kiosk so that when students enter your office they do not need to use a staff member’s desktop to check-in, but rather can check-in independently using the tablet/laptop. The use of a tablet/laptop for your Kiosk may allow for a more seamless check-in process and a proactive prevention of disturbing a staff member’s work time by needing to use their desktop
