The MFA in Creative Writing at City College invites you to a reading and conversation with David Groff, poet, professor, and editor, to celebrate his new book Live in Suspense, on April 3, 5 - 6:30pm.
David Groff’s third book of poems, Live in Suspense, was published in 2023 by Trio House Press. He has previously published Clay, winner of the Louise Bogan Award, and Theory of Devolution, selected for the National Poetry Series, both of which were finalists for the Lambda Literary Award. An independent book editor, he is a longtime guest professor in the MFA program at CCNY. His essays and poems have been widely published and anthologized. He is an activist and cultural worker who cofounded the Publishing Triangle and is a board member of Nightboat Books.
