The Land of Azaba - film screening and talk for Earth Day
On April 22nd, 2021 - Earth Day - at 7 PM, join us for a zoom webinar with Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Greta Schiller, director of the soon to be released feature documentary, The Land of Azaba.
Addressing climate change is the existential question of our time, but climate change and bio-diversity loss are two sides to the same coin. The first feature documentary on the theme of ecological restoration, The Land of Azaba immerses the viewer in a magical world where humans and wildlife work together to restore the largest remaining tract of wild nature in western Europe. The survival of many rare and endangered species is at stake.

Watch the film, and hear from veteran documentary filmmaker Greta Schiller (BeforeStonewall, Paris Was a Woman) as she joins in conversation with Stuart Z. Katz Professor of English Emily Raboteau (novelist/essayist) and Professor of Biology Ana Carnaval (biodiversity specialist) in a special Earth Day event moderated by writer Esther Tolkoff.
