Field of Vision is a filmmaker-driven documentary unit that commissions and creates original short-form nonfiction films about developing and ongoing stories around the globe. They produce cinematic work that tells the stories of the world from new perspectives. Committed to short-form films, FOV provides their filmmakers the necessary support and resources to create their films.

Field of Vision was co-created by Laura Poitras, the acclaimed filmmaker and journalist, whose film CITIZENFOUR won an Oscar for best documentary, along with Charlotte Cook, a curator, writer and producer and former Director of Programming at Hot Docs, who is also the Executive Producer at FOV.
