Hear from Stacey L. Holman - who both directs and produces- to find out more about this important and yet often vaguely described role in film production.

Stacey, filmmaking for over a decade, recently wrapped on the follow up to The Black Church series, GOSPEL as one of the series Producers/Directors. The four-hour documentary will broadcast on PBS in February 2024. She previously was the Series Producer/Director of Henry Louis Gates, Jr’s Black Church series The Black Church: This Is Our Story. Her last project, Making Black America: Through the Grapevine, which she Series Produced/Directed, aired on PBS in 2022.
