Raghd (she/her) is a rising junior at the City College of New York majoring in Biology. Her desire to help her community has led her to gain a multitude of experiences both in health care and community outreach. Raghd has 150+ hours of volunteering at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist and is a current volunteer at New York Cares. At Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, she is a research intern in the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, working on projects like the Arab health initiative(AHI) and Immigrant Health & Cancer Disparities. At the City College of New York, Raghd has held the treasurer's position of the Biology Club for the academic year 2021-2022 and is currently a student leader in the Division of Science Council, student representative to the biology department Executive Committee, and the President of the Biology Club. During her free time, Raghd spends time learning Japanese, going on walks, and watching movies.
