  • Black Male Initiative
    The Initiative's mission is to increase, encourage, and support the retention and educational success of black males and other under-represented groups.
     
  • The City College Honors Program (Honors Center)
    Offers selected, high-achieving students in all disciplines a particularly challenging academic program in small classes, managed by the Honors Center.
     
  • City College and Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowships
    Two programs combining outstanding students who share a common interest in research and common aspirations to earn a Ph.D
     
  • Charles B. Rangel Center for Public Service
    Provides a range of support services to students enrolled in CCNY’s master’s Public Service Management Program.
     
  • Macaulay Honors College (Honors Center)
    For highly qualified entering freshmen, this program provides outstanding educational opportunities, advising and financial support.
     
  • MARC & RISE Program
    Federal programs funded by the National Institutes of Health, which aim to encourage talented minority students to pursue biomedical or behavioral research careers.
     
  • National Scholarships and Fellowships
    National scholarships are highly competitive awards that provide support for a range of academic opportunities, including study abroad, language learning, and graduate study. In addition to a high GPA, these programs seek students with research, service, and leadership experiences.
     
  • SEEK Program - Search for Education, Elevation and Knowledge
    A higher educational opportunity program that provides academic and financial support to students who qualify based on specific income and academic criteria.
     
  • Skadden Arps Honors Program in Legal Studies
    A unique partnership one of the preeminent law firms in the world and CCNY prepares students from low-income and underrepresented groups for successful legal careers.
     
  • Student Support Services Program:
    Provides students with academic , counseling and financial support, in addition to academic enrichment, student development and co-curricular activities. Students are selected on the basis of academic and financial need.
     
  • Study Abroad
    Extensive choices at CCNY from semester-long programs in Europe, to short-term programs during the winter and summer sessions in various locations throughout the world.
