CHOOSE FROM THE FOLLOWING COURSES on Wednesday, Nov 8th:
B2002 Idea Development (Foundational Course required for all tracks) S104
In this course, students learn the difference between an internal strategic document and the more consumer-oriented concept or story that delivers the strategic message. These distinctions are explored as students transform brand identity, internal marketing goals, and communication objectives into creative language, concepts, campaigns, and storylines that capture the consumers' imagination – and encourage active participation. Co-taught by BIC Program Director Nancy R. Tag and BIC Professor Natalie Alcide, Senior Art Director at TBWA\Chiat\Day NY.
B3031 Integrated Media Planning (Required Course for Media Track) S103
This course provides students with a provocative and thoughtful exploration of how the rapidly changing media landscape affects marketing communications and effectiveness. Students gain an understanding of how media strategies and plans are created and their role within the overall advertising/marketing mix - all while working with a real world client. Taught by BIC Professor Carole Walker, Founder of Integrity Marketing & Media.
