What is HAZWOPER training? It's a 40-hour course that teaches you the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response Standard, which applies to employees who may be exposed to hazardous substances during various operations, including clean-up, corrective actions, and emergency response. HAZWOPER certification is required for many jobs in environmental remediation and environmental consulting.
